The best Charcuterie Board so far
Last year was the year of the Gouda, I call it Shanty Draft Reserve. It is named after a wild area that I like to hunt whitetail around during PA flintlock season. It was the only aged cheese that I made all year. It is a rather large wheel at 8 lbs, and it was about 9 months until it really started to get some nice flavor development. Now that it is fully developed it packs a real flavor punch! It made the perfect cheese accompaniment to this charcuterie board. I’ll let you in on the methods to my cheesy madness, here are the other items I found right at our local Shoprite that really made our Gouda shine.
1) Sourdough baguette Sliced Thin
2) Di Bruno Bros. Finocchiona Salami
3)Blue Cheese stuffed olives
4)Di Bruno Bros. Black Lava Cashews
5) Pocono Pickle Guy Sweet and Spicy pickles
6)Woeber’s Whole Grain Dijon
7) Di Bruno Bros. Strawberry Prosecco Jam
